About This Spot

Stepping into Broadway Giant Bagels in Toms River feels like settling into a familiar nook where mornings unfold at an unhurried rhythm. This cozy spot embraces the warmth of a neighborhood café, inviting you to pause and savor simple moments. The hum of friendly exchanges and the comforting aroma of fresh coffee create a welcoming backdrop, drawing regulars and newcomers alike to a place that feels genuinely lived-in and well-loved.

The atmosphere here is unpretentious and heartfelt. While the space hints at decades of stories shared over breakfast and coffee, the genuine smiles behind the counter make it clear that hospitality is never taken for granted. It’s the kind of place where your oversized cup of coffee is refilled with warmth as much as generosity, and where bagels arrive fresh, hearty, and ready for thoughtful combination — a satisfying crunch of vegetable cream cheese or the richness of a classic bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich.

Beyond the signature bagels, there’s a quiet joy in discovering unique twists like pretzel bagels or pairing a blueberry bagel with a dollop of strawberry cream cheese, flavors that feel lovingly crafted rather than assembled. The space offers a relaxed pause amid the daily rush, whether you’re diving into a hearty vegetable chili or lingering over a sweet note of cannoli or panna cotta.

This is a spot where practical comfort meets a touch of culinary curiosity, wrapped in the kind of approachable, human experience that keeps people coming back—not just for the food, but for the sense of belonging. Broadway Giant Bagels is a reminder that good mornings often begin with simple, honest pleasures shared around a familiar table.

Delish bagels. The veggie cream cheese has fresh veggies in it that crunch in your mouth! 10 out of 10. Coffee is huge and refillable.

I always like to try a new spot more than once which I did here. My first visit was on a Saturday and the staff is SUPER friendly and welcoming. My first look around at the dining area is that it needs a fresh coat of paint, some deep cleaning and some updated seating. The floors could use a good polishing because it comes off a bit overlooked. I ordered 3 BEC bagels and a cannoli because they advertise that they are homemade. Everything was so good. The bagels were toasted, soft, a good chew and just very tasty. (Jalapeño, everything and egg) The cannoli was made to order and it was good. I have had better but I thought it was decent for a bagel joint. I was so excited to find a bagel spot close by. Next visit was the next day and we ordered the same thing but this time tried a Philly cheesesteak as suggested by the woman at the counter. Once again staff was very nice and friendly. The Philly cheesesteak had a great taste and full of flavor. The 2 BEC bagels were not toasted as asked and the portion was half of what we had received the previous day. I was given the wrong flavor bagel and it just didn’t have the same effort from the day before. The cannoli this time around tasted stale and the filling had no chocolate chips and it was a bit disappointing overall. My suggestion would be to work on cleanliness, consistency and making sure orders are made as the client asks because in this day and age and the way things are so expensive it could make a world of difference.

08/19/2025: Two toasted bagels with cream cheese-excellent! Their coffee is also consistently good. I have purchased bagels & coffee here previously and was never disappointed.
